Overseas Network, January 10th – A group of Trump supporters in the United States attacked the Capitol on the 6th, and the riots have killed five people, including congressional police Sinick.
In an interview with British media on the 9th, his father Charles said that Sinick was a supporter of Trump. He was sprayed with pepper during the riots and was hit in the head and died.
Charles said he hoped that his son’s death would stop all the crazy behavior in the country.
According to Reuters, Charles said that his son Sinick loved his job and his first important task after becoming a congressional police officer was to serve at the inauguration of former President Obama in 2009.
He revealed that when the mob clashed with congressional police, Sinick was hit on the head by pepper spray, and was taken to a local hospital and died of serious injuries.
Sinic has blood stasis in his skull, and even if he has surgery, he will become a “vegetative man”.
Charles said that Sinick was a supporter of Trump, but rarely talked about politics with his parents.
“His political position never affected his work”.
“If my son’s death can bring any benefits, I hope it will stop all the crazy behavior that is happening in this country,” Charles said.
On the 8th, the U.S. Council lowered the flag at half-mast for Sinick at the request of Speaker of the House of Representatives Pelosi.
Charles said that Pelosi invited them to Capitol to select a site for the Sinick Memorial and hold a funeral on Capitol.
