US Rep. Joe Wilson announced on the evening of December 16 local time that his latest new coronavirus test result was positive and he would self-quarantine.
Republican Representative Wilson of South Carolina spoke in the U.S. House of Representatives earlier on the 16th. He issued a statement on the same day, saying: “Earlier tonight, I learned that I tested positive for the new crown virus. I will follow The House Physician is instructed to take all necessary precautions.”
Wilson said in the statement that he is currently feeling well and has no symptoms, and that everyone should do their best to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
