U.S. President’s cronies say Trump should attend Biden’s inauguration: This is good for everyone
December 1st – Senator Lindsay Graham, a long-time ally and cronies of US President Trump, said that Trump should attend Biden’s inauguration in January 2021 and said that it was a good choice for everyone.
According to Newsweek, Graham said in a question from reporters in Congress that “if Biden finally wins, [Trump’s inauguration] should be.” “I think that’s good for both the country and for Trump,” he added with a smile.
U.S. media pointed out that many congressional Republicans have not yet admitted that Trump lost the election, but Graham’s words mean that they are further aware that Biden has won. Meanwhile, the Trump team repeatedly questioned the election vote counting process, but so far failed to change the results of any state.
On November 26, Trump answered questions from reporters after a Thanksgiving conference call with U.S. military personnel about whether he would attend Biden’s inauguration in accordance with tradition.
He said at the time that “there is an answer, but he doesn’t want to answer it yet”, but said that if Biden was sworn in, he would leave the White House.
