NASA postponed its first Mars helicopter flight, originally scheduled for the 11th, due to potential technical problems found during the test.
NASA said on the 10th that the “Witty” helicopter did a high-speed rotor rotation test the day before.
During the helicopter computer changing from pre-flight mode to flight mode, the system found a problem and terminated the test ahead of schedule.
The helicopter is “safe and sound”, and the controller will analyze the data to find out the cause of the problem, and the first flight will be postponed to at least 14 days.
