February 10th – On the 9th local time, Aimee Raskin, the manager of the impeachment bill of the U.S. House of Representatives and Democratic Rep.
of Maryland, talked about his personal experience of bringing his daughter into Congress on January 6 and encountered riots, and once swallowed.
According to the Capitol Hill, Ruskin said that he decided to return to work on January 6 despite the pain of losing his son the day before. On the same day, he invited his daughter Tabitha and Hank to watch the whole meeting together.
“They wanted to be with me during this devastating week of our family,” Ruskin said.
Raskin said that his daughter and daughter watched the debate in the House of Representatives from the auditorium.
After learning that the Capitol was under siege, they were taken to the office of House Majority Leader Steiny Hoyer.
Raskin said, “They hid under the table, sent what they thought was the last text message, and made a farewell call. They thought they were going to die.
Tabitha and Hank were rescued after being trapped in the office for an hour. Soon after, Raskin reunited with them. He hugged them and apologized to his daughter.
Ruskin said, “I told my daughter how sorry I was and assured her that the next time she returned to the Capitol with me, it would not happen again
