Two people have been injured in a shooting in New York’s Times Square

May 8 2021, two people, including a 3-year-old child, were injured in a shooting in Times Square, New York.

The New York Police Department said the shooting occurred at about 17:00 on the 8th, the gunman fled the scene after the crime. One woman and one child were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At present, part of Times Square has been sealed off, police are hunting the gunman.
