Trump’s outgoing speech thanked his family: they instinctively lead a lighter life

CNN on January 20th, Trump delivered his last speech during his presidency at Andrews Air Force Base on January 20.

Trump especially thanked his children at the farewell ceremony, saying that “they did a good job”.

He said: “People don’t know how hard the family works.

They could have lived a more relaxed life, but they just (checked in the White House), but they did a good job.

He also asked First Lady Melania to make a brief speech.

Trump called the First Lady a “very elegant, beautiful and respectable woman” and she was “very popular with the people”, although CNN polls found that she was the least popular first lady in recent history.

Melania stepped onto the rostrum and said briefly, “It is my greatest honor to be your first lady.”

After she finished her speech, the president picked up the microphone again and said, “What else do you want to say, right? That’s true, honey. Good job.
