CNN on January 12, two government officials revealed that U.S. President Trump and Vice President Pence talked for the first time today since the riots in the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday local time.
A senior government official said that the two met and had a “good dialogue” in the Oval Office of the White House.
Trump and Pence are reportedly discussing what will do in the coming week, while “rethinking the work and achievements of the administration over the last four years.”
“They reiterated that those who broke the law and stormed the Capitol last week did not represent the American First Movement supported by 75 million Americans and pledged to continue to work for the rest of their terms on behalf of the country,” the official said.
