According to a report by Nikkei Chinese website on the 23rd, Japan’s Oriental Paradise announced on the 22nd that it will introduce a floating ticket price system in Tokyo Disneyland Resort from March 2021.
Raise prices during periods of expected crowding and narrow the gap between the off-peak season of admissions.
It is planned to set the adult one-day ticket for weekend festivals and peak seasons at 8,700 yen (about 90$), an increase of 500 yen (about 5$) over the current level. The same mechanism is implemented at Universal Studios (USJ) in Osaka, Japan.
Specifically, Tokyo Disneyland has raised prices on weekends, festivals, spring break and golden week since it entered the park on March 20, 2021.
Among adult tickets, in addition to the one-day ticket price increase, the ticket price for admission will also be set at 8200 yen (about 82$) at 10:30, 7,700 yen (about 77$) after noon, and the price will be increased from 400 to 500 yen.
The price of children’s tickets has been raised to the same extent. The price can be confirmed through the website about 1 month in advance.
