Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced on the 7th that due to the increasing severity of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Olympic torch tour activities in Tokyo’s cities and districts will be temporarily suspended.
In a statement issued by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the decision was made to “reduce the flow of people and prevent further spread of the COVID-19”.
