January 27 According to ABC, a laptop in the office of Speaker Pelosi was stolen in the riots in the United States Congress about three weeks ago.

Recently, a Pennsylvania woman was accused of being involved in the theft of the laptop, but the woman’s lawyer said on January 26 that the stolen computer had not been found in her home or car.

Public defender Kramer reportedly told a federal judge that investigators had searched Williams’ car and her residence in Harrisburg, but still could not find the location of the laptop.

The report quoted the Philadelphia Inquirer that Assistant U.S. Attorney Mona Sedeki said at a hearing that she believed that the investigation surrounding the theft of laptops was ongoing and uncertain, and she did not want to disclose more information about it.

ā€œIā€™m reluctant to discuss the facts of this case at this stage,ā€ said Sedeki.

I fear that talking about what we do, what we don’t know, and what we’re pursuing may endanger the investigation.”

Williams, 22, was accused of helping steal laptops. She is under electronic surveillance and is mostly house arrest at home awaiting trial.

Charges against her include obstruction of official duties, trespassing, violent intrusion and disorderly in the January 6 congressional riots.

The report noted that Sedky told the judge that there was evidence that Williams instructed others to delete laptop data after the congressional riots.

The U.S. District Judge restricted Williams’s Internet access while she was awaiting trial.
