April 28, a U.S. federal grand jury charged three men suspected of shooting African-American man Ahmad Arbery with hate crimes and attempted kidnapping.
The three suspects are Travis McMichael, 35, Gregory McMichael, 65, and William Bryan, 51, who are father and son. Each of the three faces one count of human rights violations and attempted kidnapping, in addition to Travis and Gregory charged with carrying and using firearms related to violent crime.
It is reported that the case occurred on February 23, 2020, home in Green County, Georgia, African-American man Aberystwyth, while running, was chased by three white men and shot dead, but in the clear identity of the suspect, until May 5, 2020, the scene of the video was released, the three suspects were not arrested and charged.
Lawyers for Aberystwyth’s mother have said the local police and two prosecutors conspired to cover up the truth and cover up the perpetrators, causing them to be brought to justice.
