May 17 2021 A man attacked passers-by with a knife in a park near a railway station in Yekaterinburg, Russia, Russian Sputnik network reported Wednesday. The information service of the Russian Investigating Committee Sverdlovsk Oblast said three people were killed in the incident.
According to reports, the Russian Interior Ministry Sverdlovsk State General Information Service news agency, the suspect also tried to attack the police officers rushed to the scene. Law enforcement officers had to open fire, injuring the suspect. The suspect has now been taken to hospital.
