According to the announcement, the three soldiers belong to the 1st “Hunter” Armored Regiment under the 7th Armoured Brigade of the French Army.
According to the French Ministry of Defense, the force has high mobility and strong firepower due to its equipping with Leclerc tanks and light armored vehicles.
The proclamation also said that French President Macron used this to reaffirm France’s determination to continue to combat terrorism.
