From the afternoon to the evening of May 15, local time, three explosions occurred in Yangon, Myanmar, killing one and injuring two others.
At about 1615 p.m. that day, an explosion occurred near a petrol station in the North Ogra township of Yangon, injuring three people at the scene, one of whom died after being taken to hospital.
At about 20 p.m., an explosion near a brewery in Yangon’s Dinggan-Jin township caused a car to catch fire, and no casualties were found in the blast.
At about 22 o’clock that night, an explosion occurred near the office of the manager of the insan township of Yangon, which caused no casualties, but caused serious shaking of surrounding buildings and caused widespread power outages around the area.
