According to the Austrian Ministry of the Interior and the City of Vienna, as of November 4, the terrorist attack in Vienna on the evening of the 2nd has caused 5 deaths and 23 injuries, some of which were seriously injured.

According to Austrian media reports, the assailant killed on the 2nd was a 20-year-old male with dual citizenship of Austria and North Macedonia.
He was sentenced to 22 months in prison for trying to travel to Syria to join the terrorist extremist organization “Islamic State” and was released early after serving 7 months. The Austrian government decided to set up an investigation committee to investigate this.
