The United States may consider small steps to gradually resume the Iran nuclear agreement.

According to Reuters on February 8, three sources familiar with the matter pointed out that the United States is evaluating various ideas on how to resume the Iran nuclear agreement, including some small actions taken by both sides in exchange for time without fully implementing the agreement.

According to the report, this milder approach may help alleviate the deterioration of U.S.-Iran relations after Trump’s withdrawal from the agreement in 2018 and suspend Iran’s subsequent violations of the agreement.
