The United Kingdom plans to exempt industrial and commercial executives and other immigration from quarantine policy
According to the Financial Times, the British government plans to open special channels for business executives and financial practitioners with “specific investment plans” to allow these people to enter the UK and avoid self-isolation.
Under this plan, if corporate executives participate in high-value transactions that can bring significant economic returns to the UK and promote business investment, they will not need to self-isolate or even be tested, according to people familiar with the matter.
In addition, performing arts professionals, television producers, journalists and newly signed high-level athletes are also expected to be included in the program. At present, the British government stipulates that all immigrants are quarantined at home for 14 days.
