February 9th, U.S. Eastern Time, the U.S. Senate officially began hearing the impeachment case of former President Trump.
On the 9th, the Senate will hold about four hours of debate on the legality of the second impeachment against Trump.
On January 13, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to pass the impeachment clause, accusing former President Trump of “sedition” in the January 6 impact on the Capitol.
Trump also became the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice in office.
