December 17 According to the Washington Post on the 16th, U.S. Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt tested positive for the novel coronavirus. A Home Office spokesman said Bernhardt is currently showing no symptoms and will continue to work during quarantine.
Bernhardt reportedly was tested before attending the cabinet meeting presided over by Trump on the 16th, and then did not attend the meeting because the result was positive.
Many senior government officials have been tested as Bernhardt has met with officials many times in the last two days.
