The U.S. government released an investigation report: Saudi Crown Prince approved the killing of journalist Khashoggi.

According to local media reports in the United States, on February 26 local time, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a declassified evaluation report showing that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) approved the October 2018 “capture or killing” of Washington Post reporter Jamal Khashoggi’s action.

The report said that its findings were based on Saudi Arabia’s security and intelligence agencies, which the Crown Prince “absolutely controlled”, “makes Saudi officials unlikely to carry out operations of this nature without the Crown Prince’s authorization”.
