The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the 27th relaxed outdoor wearing mask guidelines, said that the completion of Coronavirus vaccination in uncrowded outdoor places can not wear a mask, unvaccinated people in some cases may not wear a mask to go out, but stressed the importance of outdoor gathering and indoor places wearing masks.

The CDC says people don’t have to wear masks when walking, cycling or running outdoors or with family members, regardless of whether they have completed vaccinations or not. People who have completed vaccinations can attend small outdoor gatherings without wearing masks.

The agency stresses that unvaccinated people should wear masks when attending small outdoor gatherings or dining outdoors with friends from multiple families, and that people should wear masks at crowded outdoor events such as concerts or sporting events, whether or not they have completed vaccinations. The CDC continues to advise people to wear masks in indoor public places such as hair salons, restaurants, shopping centers, gyms, museums and cinemas.

“Despite the effectiveness of the vaccine, we know that Coronavirus is spreading rapidly indoors,” CDC Director Rochelle Wallensky said. ”

Valenski said the decision comes against the backdrop of an increasing number of Coronavirus vaccinations and a decrease in Coronavirus of new cases, hospitalizations and deaths.

More than half of U.S. adults, or about 140 million people, have been vaccinated against at least one dose of Coronavirus vaccine, the Associated Press reported. More than a third of Americans have completed vaccinations.

For much of the past year, the CDC has advised people to wear masks at a distance of 6 feet (about 1.8 meters) outdoors. Valenski warned in March that states were relaxing controls and more people were traveling during spring break, and the government was concerned that the U.S. could see a new wave of outbreaks if people did not wear masks during spring break travel.

When Joseph Biden first became president of the United States, he announced goals for the prevention and control of the outbreak within 100 days, including making masks widely worn by the public. White House officials and medical experts, including Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, have repeatedly asked the public to wear masks and keep a social distance to prevent the virus from spreading.

The recent rebound in the global multi-country pandemic has prompted the government to introduce new prevention and control measures. Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, introduced measures on the 26th, people in public places without masks will be fined 20,000 baht (about 600USD).

In addition, epidemiologists believe that the recent outbreak in India has deteriorated rapidly, mainly due to poor implementation of pandemic prevention measures such as keeping a social distance and wearing masks in Indian society.

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros 19 stressed that countries in the fair vaccination at the same time can not relax wearing masks, maintain a safe social distance and other pandemic prevention measures.
