The Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK) reported on December 21 that the second coronavirus vaccine in the United States was approved for emergency use, and Moderna, a pharmaceutical company that produces the vaccine, began to ship goods to all parts of the United States.
The storage temperature of this vaccine is minus 20 degrees, which is higher than that of the previously approved vaccine such as Pfizer, which has a storage temperature of minus 70 degrees.
Given that the Moderna vaccine can be stored in ordinary freezers, the relevant head of the U.S. government believes that the vaccine is convenient for distribution to small-scale medical institutions and remote areas.
