According to Otas News Agency, on the 30th local time, the joint Russian and Turkish monitoring center officially began operation in Agdam, located in the Nagorno-Karabakh, which is currently controlled by Azerbaijan.

The main task of the monitoring center is to jointly monitor the implementation of the local ceasefire agreement.

On the same day, Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Hasanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Fumin, and Turkish Deputy Minister of Defense Kara Osman Oglu attended the opening ceremony of the center.

According to the introduction, the monitoring center has a total of 120 soldiers on monitoring tasks, and Russia and Turkey each send 60.
