February 5th, local time, Russian Defense Minister Shoigu presided over a meeting to discuss the continued procurement of hypersonic weapons and long-range high-precision weapons for the Russian army.
Shoigu said at the meeting that Russian President Putin is highly concerned about the development and equipment of Russia’s sophisticated weapons, and the Ministry of Defense will report to Putin on the development and procurement of relevant weapons in April this year.
At present, Russia’s hypersonic technology weaponization process is in the world’s leading position.
The “Zircon” hypersonic anti-ship missile has recently undergone several consecutive rounds of testing and is expected to be officially listed in 2021.
In addition, Russian-made “dagger” and “vanguard” hypersonic missiles have already entered the trial deployment stage.
As the acquisition of new weapons continues, the combat effectiveness level of the Russian army will take a new level.
