April 6th local time, Russian Defense Minister Shoigu announced that the Russian Defense Ministry would hold combat readiness inspections in all military regions from that day.
Shoigu said that this round of combat readiness inspection will involve various arms of the Russian army, during which the Russian army will hold more than 4,048 exercises of various scales in 101 training grounds and 520 military bases scattered in major military regions, the Arctic region, the Kanchatka Peninsula and the Kuril Islands.
Shoigu requested that the training quality and safety of personnel and military equipment should be ensured during combat readiness inspection.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also released pictures of the combat readiness inspection of strategic missile forces and anti-aircraft missile forces on the 6th.
As planned, this round of combat readiness inspection will continue until the end of this month.
