The President and Prime Minister of Algeria met with the Foreign Minister of Mali respectively.

April 5th, local time, Algerian President Terben and Prime Minister Gerrard met with visiting Malian Foreign Minister Zeni Muraye in Algiers respectively. The two sides exchanged views on the international and regional situation of common concern to the two countries.

Zeni Muraye led a Malian ministerial delegation to Algiers on April 5, the main purpose of his trip was to participate in the 16th Algerian-Mali Bilateral Strategic Committee meeting. It is reported that the meeting will focus on a series of documents related to the relations between the two countries and regions and discuss how to accelerate the implementation of the Peace and Reconciliation Agreement signed by the Malian government and anti-government organizations in 2015.
