The new measures mainly include: no vehicles are allowed to go out from 21:00 a.m.
every night to 5 a.m. the next day; no stay in public places after 19:00 p.m., and the catering service business hours until 19:00 p.m.; prohibiting public activities and private gatherings; closing cinemas, theaters, gyms, swimming pools and other event venues; hospitals are not in urgent.
The consultation service has been reduced by 50%; tourism activities shall not exceed 60%; inter-provincial transportation will be suspended from 00:00 on January 12. According to the regulations, anyone who violates epidemic prevention measures will be fined a high amount.
Torres Irivar, chairman of the Havana Provincial Defense Commission, said on the same day that the rebound of the epidemic in Havana was caused by the failure to strictly implement epidemic prevention and hygiene measures after opening to international tourists at the end of last year.
According to the data of the Ministry of Public Health, Cuba has 365 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, including 132 new confirmed cases in Havana.
As of the 9th, the total number of confirmed cases in Cuba reached 14,188, and the cumulative number of deaths was 148. In the past month alone, more than 4,000 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Cuba.
Since June 18, 2020, all parts of Cuba have entered the stage of lifting the blockade one after another, and gradually lifting the blockade in three stages.
In view of the stabilization of the epidemic situation, all localities have entered the new normal stage from the stage of lifting the epidemic from October 12.
