The outbreak worsened as Malaysia closed 22 Ramadan bazaars

April 30 Malaysia’s Ministry of Housing and Local Government announced that the government had decided to close 22 Ramadan markets from May 1st, in light of the current outbreak. It is reported that these bazaars are located in seven states and regions of Malaysia. Malaysian authorities say they could lead to an outbreak.
