According to the Jerusalem Post, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office did not disclose the name of the person, but only called him “D”.
D” will officially take office in June 2021.
According to the report, the appointment must be approved by the Civil Service Advisory Committee, but usually, the Israeli Prime Minister has almost complete discretion in the appointment of Mossad personnel.
