The January 6th incident is the new version of “9-11” in the United States?

by YCPress

January 10th that the website of Russia published an article by author Alexander Gashuk on January 8 entitled “The capture of the Capitol will become a watershed in American history”.

The full text is excerpted as follows:

Anger, resentment, hostility, shock, pain, shame, all Americans experience these far from pleasure to varying degrees on January 6, 2021. It was on this day that thousands of angry protesters stormed and occupied the Capitol, the highest temple of American democracy, an unprecedented event in American history.

For the United States, which is experiencing irreversible division, January 6 will undoubtedly become a historical watershed like September 11, 2001.

For an American politician in his late age, it is impossible to restore the United States to the unified, proud and self-proclaimed “exception” country of that year.

Politicians fight fiercely ignore the interests of the whole people

What happened in Washington when protesters against the “theft of the election” destroyed the doors and glass of the Capitol on the 6th and worked together to interrupt the peaceful transfer of presidential power? This is exactly the climax of an unprecedented political crisis that many analysts expected, starting with Republican Trump winning the general election in 2016.

Over the past four years, the Democratic elite of the United States, driven by short-term interests and a liberal ideological agenda, have launched a real war against Trump himself and his conservative internal and foreign policy.

The tools used are diverse, including attempts to impeach, “witch hunting”, fraud in the mainstream media, and attempts to use left-wing movements such as “black lives are also important” to serve political self-interest.

In response, Trump, who never conceals the political slove knot, with the support of right-wing nationalism and white supremacist voters, fought back with an instinctive rude style.

But where is the “red line” – the Constitution and the universally known principle of legal supremacy? In the history of the United States, no matter how fierce the political struggle is, it cannot cross the above red line, and those who cross it have to pay a high price.

However, current politicians in the United States have completely forgotten the taboos of the past in the life-and-death struggle in Washington.

The political blindness of American leaders who are seriously aged physically and mentally and disregard the interests of the whole society have also become a catalyst for the rapid development of ideological, racial and national divisions in the United States.

The two parties “blame” each other endlessly.

Where will the domestic division take the United States? Biden will take office in a few days.

How will his presidency, which began with a major crisis, be affected? What initiatives will these recent tragic events drive the new president of the United States to take at home and abroad? These are all issues worth serious consideration.

The two parties quickly reached a consensus on the January 6 incident in Washington, unanimously shifting blame for the cause of the accident to the fanatical “thugs” and blame Trump, who abused his power.

Drummers of the liberal media in the United States began to fully celebrate the victory of the “liberal torch and democracy versus despotism”, hoping to describe the capture of the Capitol to the American people in this way.

But in fact, the situation in the United States seems very different.

As long as you dig deeper, you will soon find that the left and right wing of American politics have made quite worrying predictions.

Jacobin magazine on the left of the United States believes that the right-wing extremist forces that are extremely active in the impact on the Capitol are by no means a partial, volatile or temporary phenomenon in the United States.

And the monthly magazine American Spectator said that Trump’s supporters were about to be suppressed.

Biden takes over the “American Divide”

Can Biden re-glue the “American Divide” under the current conditions? Can he overcome the division and become the “leader of all Americans” as he promised in a short term?

It is believed that this task cannot be completed even considering Trump’s late commitment to peaceful power after realizing that the United States is in danger.

The wrong dividing line between the “black” and “white” America (in terms of color) and the “red” and “blue” America (in terms of party) is too deep.

“It’s a group of rebels, mobs and domestic terrorists,” Biden said of the people involved in the incident, a day after the riot.

He didn’t know that he was actually putting these labels on tens of millions of Americans who thought the election had been “fake and stolen”.

People will ask how can Biden, who has “stealed the election”, be a legitimate U.S. president for these American citizens? No matter what! Because of this, the United States will continue to fall in the “vicious circle” of internal confrontation.

Where will this cycle take the United States (only more than 200 years old)? There is no answer to the question for the time being.
