February 4th – On the 2nd local time, a violent arrest-resistant incident occurred in Florida, resulting in the shooting of two FBI agents while on duty.
U.S. media later revealed the identity of the gunman, calling him a 55-year-old IT expert without criminal record.
According to media reports such as CBS Miami Channel and the Daily Mail, the police have confirmed that the suspect who killed two FBI agents on the 2nd was named David Lee Huber, 55 years old and had no criminal record before.
The FBI confirmed on the 3rd that Huber is an IT expert and currently lives alone after his divorce from his wife.
On the day of the crime, several FBI agents came to Huber’s apartment to carry out a search involving child pornography cases.
Without the agent entering his apartment, Huber found the agent ready to approach through the doorbell video system, and then fired a large number of bullets to launch an attack.
Two murdered agents were Laura Schwarzenegger and Daniel Alfin, both married and left behind young children.
Three other agents were injured in the incident.
According to public records, Huber has little motive to murder two agents, and only a few traffic violations have been recorded. However, at the time of the crime, Huber was fully armed and ready to fight.
According to law enforcement sources, in addition to the assault rifle used to kill agents, Huber’s apartment has other guns.
Huber, who was injured in the gunfight, stayed in his apartment and chose to commit suicide two hours later. According to U.S. media, this case is considered to be one of the deadliest shootings in FBI history.
