A house in the San Francisco Bay Area that was destroyed by fire was successfully sold this week for $1 million, or about $6.5 million, according to the Market Watch website.
The four-bedroom house, which is about 220 square metres in size, was destroyed in a fire last fall and was listed for sale for $850,000. Although the house has been burned to the ground, in just three days, eight buyers have expressed interest.
According to a local real estate agent, the final buyer is an investor who plans to renovate it after buying it and sell it. Reported that the house is located in a better location, nearby housing prices are also between 1.2 million to 2.1 million U.S. dollars.
