The General Council of Medical Staff of Spain called on health care workers across the country to observe a one-minute silence at 12 noon on The International Nurses’ Day on 12 May in memory of health care workers who died during the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.

Paramedics across Spain responded to the call with a minute’s silence at 12 noon local time on 12 May. Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez also paid tribute to the country’s medical staff on the same day, he said: Spain’s Coronavirus vaccination work is progressing smoothly, thanks to the dedication of health care workers.
