Reuters reported on February 4 that four people familiar with the matter said that the foreign ministers of the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany are expected to discuss how to restart the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement soon.
Two sources revealed that the discussion may be held as early as Friday local time, while two other sources said that the discussion might start next week.
U.S. President Biden has said that if Iran strictly abides by the content of the agreement again, the United States will follow suit and use it as a springboard to reach a broader agreement, which may restrict Iran’s missile development and regional activities. Iran has always insisted that the United States relax sanctions before it resumes compliance with the Iran nuclear agreement.
