The FDA team voted for the emergency use of Pfizer vaccine.

December 11th, an external advisory group of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) voted overwhelmingly in favor of emergency use of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine on December 10.

The committee voted 17-4 for a vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech to support that the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risk of vaccination for adults aged 16 and above, according to Reuters. A member of the committee abstained.
