The convoy of the interior minister of the Libyan National Unity Government was attacked.

According to AFP, on February 22, local time, Fasi Bashaja, the interior minister of the Libyan National Unity Government

was attacked on the road near Tripoli, the Libyan capital. The attackers opened fire on Bashaja’s convoy from an armored vehicle.

Bashaja himself survived the attack.

Two of the attackers were arrested and another attacker was taken to the hospital.
