May 19 – According to the New York Daily News, a 911 operator in the United States hung up the alarm call from the scene of the Buffalo shooting. The operator has been suspended.
According to the report, during the shooting in a supermarket in Buffalo, a supermarket employee Latisa called the police, but the operator hung up because her voice was too low. Latisha said, “At that time, I heard the gunman nearby, so I was quiet when I called the police. But the operator shouted to me, “Why are you so low?” You don’t have to whisper!” Latisha said that she tried to explain but hung up the phone. Latisha then called her boyfriend, who called the police.
