The relevant person in charge of Thai Airways International recently revealed that Thai Airways has received a special entrustment from the Ministry of Health of Thailand to escort the first batch of SinoVac coronavirus vaccine to Thailand.
The specific arrangement is that Thai Airways Flight G675 (Model Airbus A350-900) will carry the Kexing vaccine from Beijing to Bangkok at 6:50 Beijing time on February 24th, and land at Bangkok Suwannapp International Airport at 11:05 on the same day.
This will be the first coronavirus vaccine received by Thailand.
Thai Airways said that it was fully prepared to successfully complete the vaccine delivery task, and specially arranged for large-space models, temperature-controlled containers, and professional vaccine escort teams to carry out tasks.
At the same time, the airport is ready to transfer cold storage to ensure that the vaccine will not be exposed to high temperature during transportation, and will open a special channel to ensure the rapid clearance of the vaccine.
Anuting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health of Thailand, said that after the SinoVac vaccine arrives in Thailand, the Medical Department of the Ministry of Health and the Food and Drug Administration will take two to three days to test.
After passing the test, they will start to vaccinate the public immediately. The plan will take the lead in vaccination for front-line medical personnel and high-risk groups.
