According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, about 10,600 people have been displaced after the recent attack on two villages in the Tiraberg region of Niger.
The attack claimed 105 lives and hundreds of survivors fled the scene on foot.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that the Government of Niger has provided initial support to the affected people, including food, medical facilities, etc.
UN Secretary-General Guterres strongly condemned the attack by unidentified gunmen.
