Tanzanian President Magufuli is sworn in after being re-elected

Dar Al Salam Tanzanian President John Magufuli, who was re-elected, was sworn in in the capital Dodoma on the 5th.

At the inauguration ceremony, Magu Fuli stated that he will continue to promote

large-scale infrastructure construction, combat corruption, create more jobs and reduce poverty.

The National Election Commission of Tanzania announced on

October 30 that the candidate of the ruling party Revolutionary Party and

current President Magufuli won the presidential election held on October 28 and won a second term.

The 61-year-old Magufuli has rich experience in politics. He has served as

Tanzanian Minister of Engineering, Minister of Land, Housing and Human Settlements

and Minister of Livestock and Fisheries. He was elected President of

Tanzania for the first time in October 2015.
