According to a report by the Russian Satellite News Agency on the 26th, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon said in his annual State of the Union address to the Parliament that Tajikistan has completely defeated the novel coronavirus.
“Tajik is now free from COVID-19 and we’ve wiped it out completely,” Rahmon said. However, all citizens should still abide by the epidemic prevention regulations.
According to the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan, there have been no new cases of COVID-19 in the country for 15 days. Previously, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in schools and kindergartens, the teaching order of the new school year in 2021 was guaranteed.
Tajikistan has sent nuclear, biological and chemical units to completely eliminate classrooms, canteens, offices, stairs, corridors, gymnasiums and other areas of teaching units.
Tajikistan is one of the latest countries in the world to announce the outbreak of COVID-19.
On April 30 last year, the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan announced the first outbreak of COVID-19, with a total of 15 confirmed cases.
According to the latest statistics released by Johns Hopkins University in the United States, as of 8 o’clock Beijing time on the 27th, the total number of confirmed cases in Tajikistan was 13,308.
