April 28 2021 Spanish Olympic Committee President Blanco recently sent a letter to Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee Chairman Cai Qi, Chinese Olympic Committee President Gou Zhongwen, to China to host the 2022 Winter Olympics expressed full support.
‘On behalf of the Spanish Olympic Committee and on my own behalf, I express my full support for the Chinese Olympic Committee and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee,’ Blanco wrote.
The Olympic Committees of the two countries have maintained good relations. I believe that the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics will be a unique organization, like the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games to make the world feel shocked and unforgettable.
As the first city in the world to host the Summer and Winter Olympics, Beijing is sure to succeed.
Blanco stressed that we have reason to believe that next year the international Olympic movement will usher in a great Olympic Games.
