Spain’s Catalonia plans to appropriately relax curfew control during the festival.

On the morning of the 2nd local time, Aragonez, chairman of the Provisional Government of Catalonia, Spain, announced that he planned to appropriately relax curfew control at the end of the year and during the New Year’s festival.

As planned, the restrictions on the travel of residents on the evening of December 24 and 31 will be postponed to 1:30 a.m. the next day, and the curfew on January 5, 2021 will be postponed to 23:00 a.m. At present, the curfew imposed locally is from 22:00 to 6:00 the next day.

In addition, the maximum number of gatherings on December 25 can be increased from the current six to 10, but the Catalan regional government still recommends that residents minimize family gatherings during the festival.
