April 7th local time, the Health Bureau of Castile-León Region in Spain decided to suspend the vaccination of AstraZeneca’s coronavirus vaccine in the region again, and waited for the latest study of the European Drug Administration on the relationship between the vaccine and thrombosis cases.
This is the second time the region has decided to suspend the vaccination of AstraZeneca’s coronavirus vaccine.
The Castile-León region first suspended the AstraZeneca vaccine in mid-March and resumed the vaccination on March 24 after the Spanish territorial health committee passed a resolution to resume the vaccination.
