February 13th, local time, the official Gazette of Spain officially issued a decree extending the restrictions on entry into the country from the United Kingdom, Brazil and South Africa to March 2 local time to curb the import of mutant coronavirus.
The decree stipulates that only Spanish or Andorran citizens arriving from the United Kingdom and residents with long-term residence permits of both countries are allowed to enter Spain through airports or ports; flights from Brazil and South Africa to
Spain are allowed only citizens and holders of long-term residence permits of the two countries to enter Spain, and transit flights to non-Schengen District Passengers are allowed to stay at the airport for less than 24 hours.
The above measures will take effect from 18:00 local time on February 16th and continue at least until 18:00 local time on March 2.
