The South Korean government has previously announced that it will ensure 46 million vaccines. Specifically, the government signed a contract with the COVAX facility for the procurement of 10 million vaccines and negotiated the specific supply schedule.
On the 27th of last month, the South Korean government signed a contract with AstraZeneca for the procurement of 10 million vaccines, and on the 23rd of this month, it signed a vaccine procurement contract with Yang Sen (6 million) and Pfizer (10 million).
The South Korean government is studying the procurement contract for 10 million vaccines from the U.S. pharmaceutical company Modena.
