October 30. According to Korean media reports, as of the 30th local time, the total number of confirmed cases of new crown in South Korea reached 26,385. 

Seoul City once again emphasized that collective infections continue to occur centered on families and workplaces. To prevent the epidemic from spreading again during Halloween, Seoul decided to implement special inspections. 

To help prevent the epidemic, many entertainment venues have indicated that they will voluntarily close business on Halloween.

According to reports, as of 00:00 local time on the 30th, South Korea has added 114 new confirmed Covid-19.

Among the new cases, there were 93 cases of community infection, mainly in the metropolitan area.

In order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic during Halloween, Seoul decided to implement special inspections. 

The City of Seoul stated that it will send dedicated civil servants to the nightclub-intensive areas such as Gangnam and Itaewon to

check whether entertainment venues comply with the pandemic prevention regulations.

In addition, the City of Seoul will work with the National Police Agency and the Food and Drug Safety Department to inspect all dance entertainment facilities and similar entertainment venues in the Seoul area.

Violating venues will be ordered to suspend business for two weeks. Earlier, during the 3-day pre-check in Seoul, 25 dancing entertainment facilities that failed to comply with the admission rules and keep the distance between people have been closed.

To help prevent the epidemic, the number of entertainment venues spontaneously closed on Halloween is continuing to increase. 

Seoul City said that as of the 29th, a total of 85 entertainment venues including 22 nightclubs and 46 pubs have indicated that they will be closed for Halloween. 

The City of Seoul predicts that 50% of nightclubs and bars and 72% of taverns will voluntarily close on Halloween.
