December 30. Russian REN TV reported on the 30th that severe cold weather swept the Siberia region of Russia. The temperature in the region dropped to minus 50 degrees Celsius for the first time in 50 years.

In such extremely cold weather, Russians living in Siberia use wet clothes and cold food to express “quick freezing” daily.

According to TASS news agency, recently, affected by the strong cold air, the Siberia region has been hit by a severe cold that has not been seen in a century.

According to the local meteorological department, the lowest temperature in some areas of Tomsk Oblast reached minus 49 degrees Celsius, breaking the lowest temperature record since 1920. In addition, the lowest temperature in Novosibirsk reached minus 41 degrees Celsius, which was about 5 degrees Celsius lower than the historical record.

According to the Russian REN TV station, on the morning of the 30th, many Russians had their homes blocked by snow, and not everyone can get out of the house with one attempt.

Outside, people can hardly stand up. In this cold weather, Siberian residents soaked jeans, dresses, instant noodles, eggs, etc., and placed them outdoors. These items were instantly frozen, forming interesting shapes.
