At 1830 hours on the same day, a violent explosion occurred near the Mahabandura Bridge in the town of Dabang, Yangon. Although no one was injured, nearby buildings were rocked by the explosion. At about 19:00 that night, an explosion occurred on 41st Street in Yangon, injuring one person.
At around 1930 p.m., three bombs exploded at a railway checkpoint near a hospital in Bergu province, Myanmar, injuring six civilian police officers. According to local residents, there was a bomb explosion, when a number of military and police rushed to the scene to check, the other two bombs exploded in succession.
At about 20 p.m., a bomb mounted on a motorcycle exploded in the street in Dongzhi, the capital of Shan State, causing no casualties.
